From Online to In Person: LifesMel at District Makers’ Market
On 30 August 2026, LifesMel joined the District Makers’ Market in Docklands, Melbourne. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring our collection of space-inspired and vintage-themed stationery and creative goods into the real world—and to meet many of you in person.
Our stall brought together two worlds that continue to inspire LifesMel: the wonder of the universe and the enduring beauty of the past. From planets and celestial maps to botanical illustrations and vintage prints, each piece was created or selected to bring a little curiosity and character into everyday life.
We also offered special market prices across our range, giving visitors the chance to discover, combine and take home the pieces that spoke to them. Seeing people pause over a particular planet, botanical detail or nostalgic image was one of the most meaningful parts of the day.
LifesMel began with a love of culture, reading and thoughtfully designed objects. While our online store allows these pieces to travel further, meeting in person creates a different kind of connection. We can see which designs catch someone’s eye, hear the stories and memories they bring to mind, and share more about the inspiration behind our collections.
We are delighted that our products received such a warm response. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, had a conversation with us or took a little piece of LifesMel home.
This will not be our last visit. LifesMel will continue to take part in the District Makers’ Market regularly, giving us a place to stay connected with our local community beyond the online world.
We look forward to seeing you again in Docklands—and to continuing our search for objects that sit somewhere between past and future, knowledge and imagination, practicality and beauty.
LifesMel — for a life less ordinary.
